Treats – Wiscasset

My wife and I discovered Treats on a day trip to visit Owls Head Lighthouse that found us in Wiscasset too early for lunch at Red’s but needing something to take off the niggling edge of hunger. Treats fit the bill. It’s a specialty shop with fresh-baked goods made on site, fresh coffee, homemade soup,…

Side Street Café – Bar Harbor

Red’s Eats

Driving North along Highway one into the town of Wiscasset you will almost always encounter a slow down. There’s always a line waiting to order and it doesn’t move fast…

The Freeport Cafe

This is our go to diner in Freeport. They open at 6:00 am and close at 8:00 pm and are open year round. They have a very friendly staff that do their best to get you seated and served as quickly as possible. The cafe has grown in popularity and you may find breakfast very busy. Generally the earlier you arrive the better. Particularly on the weekends.
